The publication
of a new third edition of Mechanisms in Hematology, edited
by Lyonel and Esther Israels, is now available. Since the last
edition of the book and CD ROM, there have been significant advances
in the basic understanding of numerous areas within hematology.
The new
multi-authored edition of the book and CD ROM is approximately
twice the size of the 1997 edition, and includes a major section
on immunology as well as new sections on red cell antigens,
eosinophils and basophils, endothelium and coagulation. The
previous text has been expanded, with major additions in the
visual and interactive CD ROM material.
Mechanisms
in Hematology has been designed for senior students,
residents, fellows and physicians with the purpose of introducing,
clarifying and simplifying the subject – with the final goal of
luring the reader into further exploration of the area.
Enthusiastic
reviews from students, fellows and practicing
physicians. |
